Through the decades, this near downtown hot spot has reigned supreme as the premiere gay dance club in Houston, spinning the best tunes, bringing in the best stars, staging the best events and attracting the best eye-candy for the dance floor -- watching other competitors for the crown come and gone, sometimes up in smoke. Incognito blank box on the outside, the bi-level disco palace creates both the right compressed dance floor lightshow vibe for sweaty prancing, combined with many a lookout for pretty boys to go trick or treating. Rich's also brings in the best stars, and their stage through the years has boasted the mega-glam voltage of Grace Jones, Boy George and Blondie-delux Debbie Harry.
