'Whose Line Is It Anyway' has made improvisational comedy one of the country's hottest trends, and the ensemble cast of Atlanta's own Whole World Theater have spent years honing their irreverent comedic craft.
Inspired by Chicago's Second City Theater and L.A.'s The Groundlings, a host takes suggestions from the audience and sketches based on those suggestions are acted out, often with hilariously unexpected results. Whether it's a scene combining soap operas and pro wrestling or a sketch in which cast members must speak their lines in the form of impressions of famous movie stars, the Whole World Theater is just about the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

I Laughed until I Cried
theleahfarmer - 01/08/2007Recently I was taken to Whole World by someone who noticed they were voted BEST FIRST DATE on another city search service. I was leary due to the cliche of it all, but my concerns quickly evaporated. From the moment I walked into the doors of WWT, it was clear we would have a good time. The actors were hysterical, the crew was pleasant and lively, and even the bartender was funny. If you asked her to, she would toss and catch the water bottles in her cleavage before serving you. It was a night I will always remember as being not only a great date but an experience worth repeating. I have already booked tickets for my next trip back!
