Excellent Cuisine
Great appitizers - try the bbq stuffed pepper and the spring rolls. The fish dishes were delicious. Also - great Mohitos.

This would have received 5 stars, but the service was a little slow. The food was definitely worth the wait however. The have a slow cooked pork shank that simply melted off the bone paired with spinach and black beans that was seasoned to perfection.
Went with a group of coworkers, already made reservations to go back in two weeks with a group of friends... Mmmm mmm good
GailGood for business dinners
DC was a steak and merlot town for business dinners, so this is a particularly enjoyable spot. Unlike its cousins, Ceiba's scene is a bit quieter though still busy. If the service is any different from what you're used to, it's a bit on the slow side. However, the servers are good and the food is excellent: imaginitive presentation with flavors that you just don't taste everyday.
I come back as often as I need to to get a touch of Caribbean flavor in a business-friendly environment. I recommend the ceviches....Go to Cafe Atlantico instead
I made the mistake of bringing a visiting friend to Ceiba this past weekend. The waiter was rude (apparently you are not supposed to ask for a cocktail menu -- Rick (the rude waiter) lets you know when it is time to ask questions) and the appetizers were disappointing. Main courses were far better but still not spectacular.
We spent the previous night at Cafe Atlantico and can't wait to return -- the service was friendly, fun, and attentive a and the food was exceptional. We'll Be Back!
The food and the service was both top notch. A great place to go before a show. We will definitly be returning soon.
