The Liberty's location in a building that leans ominously is just the beginning of a unique eating experience for a first-time visitor. The menu may be radically different from one visit to the next, but there are always some classics to make you feel right at home. The feel is comfortable, and casual is always acceptable. Your menu choice, though it may be difficult, will almost always be wise. Liberty Bar offers some classic meals with uncommon twists. The ''lamburger'' is a favorite among regulars, and the fettuccini pasta luego is worth the time of any pasta lover. Entrees come with bread that is baked fresh daily. The desserts stand alone at Liberty Bar, and you can always stop in just for a piece of Virginia Green's chocolate cake, or a bowl of delicate coconut custard. And yes, the Liberty Bar does have a full bar and wine list. It's a great place to toast and talk. -- Ian O'Regan

    THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST FRESH BREAD--COMPLIMENTARY-- IN SAN ANTONIO AND FABULOUS BRUNCH ITEMS. I WOULD GIVE IT MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. ITS QUALITY IS ON A PAR WITH PLACES CHARGING DOUBLE ITS TAB!

    A HOUSTONITE AND AUSTINITE WHO HAS EATEN THERE AT LEAST 50 TIMES.

    Liberty Bar is my favorite choice of restaurants in San Antonio. I have been enjoying Liberty since the 80's and have even planned 3 hour trips just to meet for dinner with friends. It is always worth the trip

    We had a wonderful dining experience in this most unique building. The pasta was out of this world and my husband loved the pot roast. Can't wait to go back again. Everyone was extremely friendly along with excellent service. Thanks for a fantastic evening of good food, ambiance and drink.
