Club Cohiba can be described in two words: classy and cool. This little hideaway is located in the basement of the Havana River Walk Inn and is a favorite getaway for San Antonio professionals. The bar is meticulously decorated in the nostalgic spirit of the '40s and '50s with leather chairs and oak tables. The music is cool, jazzy and always played at a level that allows you to enjoy it without being drowned out of your private conversations. And as if the sophisticated, comfortable atmosphere weren't enough, the staff is exceptional, treating every guest like a VIP. With its warm, inviting interior and top-notch service, Club Cohiba is an excellent choice for meetings with business clients, or as part of a special date. Try to stop by during happy hour, when the drinks, while always delicious, are a bit less pricey.

Rude and Homophobic
babulito2000 - 02/15/2009This was the first and last time I go to this bar. I found it to be extremely pretentious. The bartender was RUDE and homophobic. She literally refused to serve my friend and I. After letting friends know of my experience, they told me this person had refused to serve them at various visits. Overall, I would not frequent this hole in the ground (literally). There are better, more sophisticated, and welcoming bars in San Antonio
