A Nice Experience: Aug. 26/05
ivalen8782 - 08/29/2005Celebrated my Son's 27th Wedding Anniversary. Reservation time was honored within minutes of schedule. Waiter was very accomodating and hospitable. 3 Halibut specials and one Salmon special were ordered along with 2 Lobster Bisques, one Ritz Tossed Salad and their Beet Salad. All were prepared in an excellent manner and attractfully served. Although the price was high, it was ok for a once a year occasion.

dwdetrick - 11/03/2004The Ritz Restaurant, the "Grand Dame of Newport Restaurants" is alive and well, and is still as elegant and delicious as it was 20 years ago ! For an appetizer, try the lobster bisque, the ritz salad, stone crab claws (in season !) or the fabulous carrousel ! For a main course, all of the steaks are tender and delcious and the bavarian duck is out of this world ! All meals come with a creamed corn casserole ! Try to get to the Ritz early for a drink in the bar ! The Ritz is a Newport classic !
