Goats on Beale Street? Yes, they're in the adjoining court yard next to Silky OSullivan, the first Irish pub on the block. There's a festive atmosphere every day of the week, largely because on the stage are two grand pianos and often dueling pianists. Tired of that? Dont worry, later a blues singer will come along, or you'll go out on the patio and hear a rock band or reach over the fence and pet a goat. What is the deal with the goats you ask? No one knows -- rumor has it they are from Ireland, but they look like Arkansas goats to me.
