Located just off the rustic and homey main dining room of Gravitas restaurant, Sidebar somehow manages to exude its own distinctly swank atmosphere. Sure, you can sip a cocktail here while you wait for your table next door, but stylish scenesters know this lounge is a destination in itself. Consider yourself warned: You may have trouble choosing a drink from the spectacular (and sometimes spectacularly expensive) drink menu, and the line at the bar grows to ridiculous lengths during peak hours. The space is small, but the retro modern furnishings are sleek and comfortable, and the patio out back offers a little extra breathing room. If you want a seat, get there early for happy hour.
