In five-plus years on Liberty in downtown Ann Arbor, Babs' grew its reputation as a relaxing place to enjoy a drink and a fine cigar. In its new location on Ashley (since 2002), nothing's changed. While you won't find food on the menu at Babs' place, you will find a selection of 11 signature martinis that'll make your mouth water. You'll also find a dozen or so cigars, available fresh from Babs' humidor. Occasional specials offer patrons a chance to pair a stogie with a high-end scotch. And if kicking back on a comfy couch isn't your thing, the intimate split-level basement bar offers pool tables, and a Wednesday night DJ spinning 1980s hits.
