How hip is this? On one level you can order sushi, bento boxes, curries, and wraps for takeout or a quick meal, while upstairs is arguably the edgiest bar on campus, at least in terms of decor. Colors, such as lime green and tangerine that in another context might cause flashbacks to bad taste back circa 1973, harmonize with each other on the walls and in high-backed, cushion-less tables, chairs, and sofas (this is fashion, not comfort). Stainless steel accents, a bar with laser-cut, multifaceted backing, and thumping techno music complete the ambiance, while a flat-screen TV - the kind most often seen in upscale hotels, that few if any students can afford - hangs on the wall. And it's "sake to me" with several house and premium varieties and saketinis, creative Japanese-style martinis made with guess-what and liquors in numerous flavors, including a definitely different version with cucumber. Beers are available, from Heineken to several types of Japanese brews, including Kelpie Seaweed.
