Its all about indelible ingredients at this bright-hued pizza emporium where patrons pass by the pristine exhibition kitchen boasting a wood-fired pizza oven before placing their order at the counter. The misshaped pizzas are Neapolitan-style, which means the hand-pressed crusts are thin, blistered and charred in the requisite places, thanks to a scorching 750-degree oven. Top-notch toppings include San Marzano tomatoes, housemade mozzarella, imported Italian meats, and fresh herbs like basil, oregano, rosemary and arugula. Salads are elevated to an art form, most notably the Rustica, a forest of romaine lettuce, sliced red and green apples, roasted walnuts, pear tomatoes and Gorgonzola.

  • My New Favorite Place

    Review rating : 5out of 5   stewfarm - 01/11/2007

We found this place a couple of months ago, and have been visiting at least once a week. The pizzas are excellent. The salads are extraordinary - much better than what we have grown to expect in a pizza parlour. All this, and nicely selected wines!

  • True Neapolitan Style

I live in denver and was out in Lone Tree shopping yesterday. I discovered Via Baci by Super Target and was Super impressed! The food is so simply delicious and their quality of ingredients really stands out. Even though I live in Denver, I would come back here for a relaxing night on their patio with some wine and a stellar pie. I had the enzo pizza, a meat lover's dream, but with authentic italian meats and their homemade mozzerella cheese. This place is a must try...no matter where you live.

  • At Last--Great Pizza in Denver

    Review rating : 5out of 5   georgefromdenver - 08/02/2006

I lived and worked in New York and was lucky enough to enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza. Since moving back to Denver, I have been searching for great pizza, and finally, with Via Baci, I can get the real deal. The home made mozzarella and ultra fresh ingredients are stellar. The chefs are fun and great to talk with and its the kind of place I love to escape to for 20 to 30 minutes at lunch and for about $10.

I am bored with eating at my or hitting the local sandwich shop. I have been looking for more options. This place is great.

My friends and I tried their summer two for one wine special after work and really enjoyed their Italian wines. The staff is very friendly and even shared some wine pairing tips.
