I love this place. We have been to Morton's, Ruth Chris and DelFrisco's. This place always delivers. DelFrisco's is good also, but I prefer the atmosphere at Brooks and the food is always delicious.

I have been dining at Brooks for two years now, as well as other high end restaurants in the Denver area. But for my 20th wedding anniversary, I wanted to really do something nice for my wife, so I interviewed 4 local restaurants with Brooks being one of them. All 4 restaurants I felt could have taken my business but through the interview process I selected Brooks. I even discussed the bad ratings I am seeing here and I can honestly say, I don’t know what happened to the folks that had a bad experience. From the moment I stepped out of our Limo the service we received was excellent. The entire staff was attentive and professional. The food was great (as usual), as well as the wine. This was also my wife’s first time here and she was very pleased as well. I would recommend Brooks to anyone that wants a great meal in a very good environment. For the setting I was looking for, Brooks met all my needs. I will not hesitate to go again.

I go there anytime I'm on Denver. Always a great steak. Nice wine list. Better than the competition down the street. Enjoy a great meal at Brook's.

Coming from California i have had a lot better. Service was the worse. Unlike another reviewer said i do believe that Coloradians know what great food is and especially steak. So Brooks you need to get your act together. I have read a lot of bad reviews from customer's. You need to take better care of your customer needs. People always spread bad news. The last time I ate there I was sick.

Had anniversary dinner here. Got very ill on the food while at the restaurant. Staff thought it was funny and offered no assistance. Go someplace where the food is safe and the staff cares about its customers.

Highly overrated and overpriced. The Filet was a nice piece of meat, but completely unseasoned. The mashed potatoes were simlarly bland and lifeless. Surprisingly, the house salad and French onion soup were both flavorful and outstanding. Unfortunately we came here for the steak and left poor and underwhelmed. Spend you time & money down the street at Del Frisco's.

We just got home after celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary on 2/14 at Brooks. They sat us 20 minutes after our reservation, could not deliver potatoes with the steak (10 minutes later) could not remember a desire for a booth, could not remember a dessert for the anniversary, and could not deliver a dinner salad without pecans. Finally, a lean rib-eye was marbled with fat as few other places are. We are talking the MOST OVER-RATED, OVER-PRICED steakhouse in the west. Don't even bother comparing this to Del Frisco's. This restaurant used to be the Chateau Pyrenees, which was terrific. This one is a dog. Atmosphere is like Black Eyed Pea with low lights. Save your money. Eat somewhere else.

I am a tough customer and a refugee from the east coast where I will always believe America's best restaurants reside. That having been said, Brooks does a better job from food quality and prep to presentation and service than anyone else in Colorado. They and The Palm are Colorado's tops. Still, both are priced higher than their overall quality. I am sorry to say the following because I love Colorado, but 98% of Coloradans are bereft of fine culinary sense and dining etiquitte and sophistication. They settle because they don't know and that does not set the bar very high for even fine-intentioned restrateurs to excel! Perhaps when Coloradans learn to hold a fork properly and stop cutting their meat with bear claws Colorado's best will rise to meet customers' enlightenment.

I visited once and had a terrible experience...the food was just so so and the service was slow to nonexistent. Our waiter had a large group to which he gave all of his attention. This is amanagement problem. On a subsequent visit the service was ok but the food was less than mediocre. I rate this operation a couple of steps below Outback. Del Frisco's, Morton's, Outback and even Lone Star are better choices.
