Orange County's laid-back taco chain began after three brothers -- who made surfing trips to Mexico -- missed the fish tacos when they returned. Walls, tables, windows and even bathrooms are laden with stickers like a giant skateboard and there is signed memorabilia (like Tony Hawk's skateboard) at each location. Starters include the tasty Maui onion rings and a spicy chicken tortilla soup, but it's the tacos -- fish, chicken, vegetarian or carne asada -- that draw the crowds. Ahi rice and white or black beans round out the meal (and your belly). For those with especially large appetites, the Banzai Burrito is a perfect match. Kids love the place because of the free stickers. -- Victoria Namkung

Great place for a simple meal. They are ill equipped if you request a change from something on the menu and service can be slow, but the food is well worth the wait.

THIS USED TO BE A PRETTY NICE PLACE WITH DECENT FOOD. BUT THEN THEY PUT A BAR IN THE CENTER OF THE RESTAURANT AND NOW ITS MORE BAR THAN RESTAURANT. THE FOOD WAS FRESH ONCE BUT LATELY THE FISH IS SOGGY AND TASTELESS. THE SALAD WAS WILTED AND OLD AND DRY. AFTER DINNER I FELT SICK (I THINK THE FISH WAS SPOILED) AND I THREW UP ALL NIGHT. I WISH THEY WOULD GO BACK TO THEIR OLD FORMULA. ITS NOW A COLLEGE HANG OUT FOR THE BIG DRINKING AND PARTYING CROWD. TOO BAD. IT WAS NICE WHILE IT LASTED. IF YOU WANT A LOUD BAR ATMOSPHERE AND LOTS OF LOUD TELEVISION NOISE AND OLD, STALE BAR FOOD, THEN GO HERE, IF NOT, GO ELSEWHERE.
