Affectionately known to the neighborhood as "Cherry Creek's joint," Rodney's is a classy and comfortable restaurant/lounge that feels a little like a 1940s hotel bar where they forgot to build the hotel. There's an old-fashioned masculinity to the establishment -- from the red meat on the menu to the simplicity of its dimly-lit decor to the salacious factoids printed on the bathroom walls -- but the crowd is not exclusively male nor is it made up of folks who frequented places like this in the '40s. Male and female Cherry Creekers of all ages pour in to Rodney's at happy hour and in the evening for cocktails, dinner and a cozy atmosphere. The mainly meaty menu's specialties include several steaks and chops; nine specialty burgers plus a buffalo burger; fresh seafood, including salmon and prawns; plus Mexican food, pasta, soup, salads and sandwiches. The original Rodney's (there are two spinoffs), located in a basement on E. Second, features a large central bar surrounded by forest green walls and upholstered booths.

My wife and I found Rodney's early this year. They have a great selection of hamburgers that are cooked the way you want them.
Bit of a drive as we live West of Park Meadow Mall, but, worth it.

Next time I will have another selection.

Hard to beat great food, service, prices and atmosphere.

On pril 24th, my wife and myself went to tht Rodneys in Tamarac Shopping center.
I had the regular cut of prime rib. The meat was full of grizzel I had to ask for rolls. I had to pay for a salad.
For the price I paID the meal was a bust. I did not want to talk to the manager as I was very upset and did not want cause a scene The wife had a good dinner and was pleased . For the money I paid for my supper, Probly your cost was five dollaers or less.
    not want to cause trouble.
