The last good place to eat after the bars close.

In Short
This joint attracts the hungry and the tired, the club hoppers who straggle in for breakfast and coffee before bed. Of course, the daylight hours are busy as well, especially weekend mornings. All the diner basics are here: steak and eggs, French toast, ham and cheese, a burger. The twist is in the gyro with eggs as breakfast or on a plate for lunch. There are also shakes, malts and freshly baked pies.

What to Drink
As for coffee, the basic needs are met: Pete's offers a bottomless cup of joe.

When to Go
The out-the-door wait (even in winter) begins around 1:30am. So leave the bar early if you want to save your feet.

I drive 35 miles to Pete's every Saturday morning that I can for beakfast. I look forward to it. Very few cooks can cook eggs correctly every time. Pete's cooks can! The hamburgers are great too!

PETE'S KITCHEN RAWKS!! My favorite place to go to after a night of local music and many PBR's. I almost always order their breakfast burrito, because it's one of the best in the city and it's easy to slur for the server to understand at 3am. Go during the day for a tamer crowd, although the joint looks a little odd in the sunlight. And don't let the line out the door scare you away; You usually get seated within minutes. Thanks to Pete's, I now know what Police Officers, musicians, drunks, eccentrics, thugs, and Lodo-ites have in common: BREAKFAST!

I have been going to Pete's since I was seven years of age. Almost twenty years now. It offers a great after hours atmosphere as well as a wonderful way to start a weekend morning. They have some great food and the service is always awesome. It's a great place to people watch too. What more could you want for a great price?

God Bless the Smoking Section... Petes is an atmosphere unlike any other. Day or night they offer great food and drink, and good efficient service. I leave over-stuffed every time.

I would challenge anyone to find another restaurant where one can go (at any hour of the day or night) and experience ALL of the following during the course of one meal:
Treated like family (which include being told to move your butt when a line starts forming)
Free floor show (any time of day) I don't know how, but there ALWAYS seems to be something amusing happening.
GREAT food....just don't try to criticize it or send it back)
Come as you are, won't break the bank, loads of FUN!

    Good food 24 hours...and cheap!
Very well known diner, everyone is seen hanging out at Pete's at one time or another.
