Our Take
Meatloaf, root-beer floats and cotton candy are jazzed up for grownups in sleek surroundings with cozy, date-worthy booths (and a community table if you arent hitting it off). At the back bar, its movies and sports on flat screens, plus vintage Pac-Man. Lounge on loveseats with an Oval-tini: vanilla vodka and crme de cacao in a chocolate Ovaltine-rimmed martini glass.

Great place

It is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. And for the price not a better deal in town.
Add CommentNine75 is fantastic!
I've been going to Nine75 since it opened several years ago. It has been one of my favorites ever since. It is sort of a family affair - as I am friends with the original chef and his family, who also happened to be the owners. The menu has stayed relatively the same and many new items I have tasted are just as good if not even better. Recently the restaurant changed owners - but it was taken over by a company not interested in changing the concept. Nine75's menu has remained - for the most part - the same. Old favorites such as the calamari, the Jimmy's Chopped Salad as well as the steak and lobster tacos still remain. The decor and feel of the restaurant unchanged. New items further the restaurant's 'comfort food' concept - and most of the strong members of the wait staff remain intact. The bar and lounge is an awesome place to hang out any day of the week, and the day's most current popular sports teams are guaranteeed to play on one of the four giant flatscreen TVs. All and all - it's elegance with great food at an affordable price. I'm so glad I can still come in and have my favorites! Thank you!
Hot Spot

We had a group of us in for dinner the other night and had a such a great time. We dined in there lounge area and it was so much fun. It has a very cool ambiance and seemed to be the place to be that night. It was packed. The service was impeccable though considering how busy she was. The food was terrific as well. This is definitely the place to be for a good time with great food and service. Will be back!
Avon Foundation Fundraiser at Nine 75
For everyone in Denver who has been to Nine75 and knows what amazing food is served there. The restaurant has a hip/eclectic atmosphere with fusion style food. Join us at Nine75 on Wednesday May 28th anytime between 5pm and 10pm. 5% of everyone's food bill for that evening will go directly to the Avon Foundation for Breast Cancer. To make reservations, call 303-975-0975 and be sure and mention the Avon Foundation.
Unsatisfied
After reading the exceptional reviews online I decided to give nine75 a try. The restaurant looked good, though it was amazingly empty even considering we went on a Monday night. We started with the "#1 Original Won Ton Tacos", which were very good. From there my wife and I ordered the meatloaf and the salmon. Both looked good as served, and both were extremely disappointing to eat. The meat loaf was composed of mashed potatoes which tasted plain whipped boiled potatoes. Two slices of ordinary meat loaf which was then grilled. A few small mushrooms, and an extremely overcooked and tasteless onion ring. The salmon was a strip of grilled salmon over what tasted like black beans put in a food processor, and some pineapple on the top. The salmon was somewhat undercooked, the black beans lacked flavor and expression, while the pineapple was a nice addition.
After finishing our meal we discussed our displeasure to our server who promptly brought over the shift manager. We again expressed our displeasure and received no compensation. In the end we paid $55 before tip for a meal that looked interesting, but tasted much worse than most dishes in American chain restaurants. If you want to go out in that area go to Racines. It's incredible and at a reasonable price. Our new favorite

I first tried Nine75 during 5280 Restaurant week this winter and fell in love! I have been back a dozen times since and even hosted a party for 80+ in their lounge. I have never been dissapointed...the food is awesome, the service is excellent, and its a fun, cool atmostphere, perfect for drinks and appetizers with friends or dinner with the in-laws. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. This is truly one of the best restaurants in Denver, I applaud Troy Guard, Chris Dunphy and the rest of the staff for the excellent establishment!
Great But....

I love the food here but I have a hard time supporting someone who is as arrogant as Troy. He acts like the world turns around him and you are a tennant in his sphere. He creates great food not to satisfy his customers, but to satisfy his ego. This would be the greatest restaurant on earth, if troy created the food off cite and stayed away.....I mean....you can feel it when he is near and it is sort of creepy....like when leatherface is on the other side of a wall waiting to break through and ruin an otherwise pleasant day. Creepy
Wow just wow
So you think that a place that serves burgers, fried chicken, and tomato soup can't be anything too special right? DEAD WRONG!!! My cravings for the Kobe beef sliders have forced me to brave the rush hour traffic coming down from Boulder in a snowstorm (yes the food is that good). There is nothing usually about Nine 75 the decor and staff are funky and great. The drinks menu does not look like every-other restaurant or bar, yeah they have the usual stuff and so much more. I have never had a bad dish there, and as far as I can tell they never have an off night. Just go, it is maybe the best restaurant in Denver right now.
