Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Every Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton's Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. Due to limited availability of this item, we suggest you reserve your order when making your reservation.

Consistent! Great food, excellent management ( Joe and Tony), friendly bartenders ( Suzy and Chad). Great experience! Pricy, but worth it! Tuna Tartare is to die for!

The food was good, service was ok. Didn't like the live spray painted lobsters out on the tray. But will never return or reccomond for one reason, when I went to eat my left overs the next day I found mashed potatoes and well done steak. No one at our table got mashed potatoes and my steak was medium rare. I wonder who's dinner I got. It's unfortunate because I work at a major hotel close by and always mention Brooks and Del Friscos and never Mortons.

Thank you Tony for a fab dinner, and wonderful service. It is always a treat to visit you and your wonderful staff, for the best steaks this side of NYC. We will see you again soon

  • poor service, snooty staff

Mortons in Chicago was fabulous but Denver lacks in service and atmosphere. I do not know if it was an "off" night but at over $100.00 per person, I am not willing to "Give 'em another shot". When the manager was privately told of our poor service, the manager ignored us and didn't even take the beverages off the bill in which we never received after ordering. Tsk Tsk

I have eaten at Mortons acouple of times, The second just to see if the first was a mistake. They do have good service, but if you eat with 4 people and drinks plan on spending this months mortgaget or more. And whats with this ala-carte crap, this is supposed to be an upscale place and you have to order all items seperately. $6.00 for a baked potatoe? Thats absurd.
For a good steak and better atmosphere go to the Chophouse down the street. I will only go back to Mortons if someone else is buying and I dont have a choice.

  • not so good...

I ate at your restaurant in the downtown Denver Colorado location on January 13, 2006, based on the recommendation of a colleague. The colleague gave rave reviews about the quality of food and service. You can imagine my disappointment when what was supposed to be a much anticipated romantic dinner with my husband turned into a complete disaster. Here are some the key reasons why I am writing this letter to you
I ordered the filet mignon steak and was initially pleased with the size. The steak was burned so badly on the top and sides that there would have been nothing left to eat by the time those areas were also removed. After waiting 15 minutes for a waiter to assist us – I showed the waiter the steak. The only response the waiter offered was “we do charbroil them.” This comment was insulting, unhelpful and unacceptable. At that point, I asked the waiter to replace the steak with the petite version. He refused then remarked that he would just bring me another of the same steak and walked away. There was never an apology much less an explanation of why he could not meet my request.
My husband ordered prime rib. We made it crystal clear to the waiter that we would need the steak cooked medium (rather then medium rare). The waiter assured us that it would be cooked the way we requested. However, the steak was delivered rare and, once my husband cut off the fat from the steak its size was reduced by nearly 60%.
In the end, the only thing that was eaten was my baked potato and parts of the salad that we were actually able to cut so it would fit on the fork.
We ordered dessert to go but, were unable to take the ice cream that came with it because your staff was unable to find a container to put it in.
I am not a stranger to fine dining but, $200.00 for 1 baked potato, some salad and dessert minus the ice cream is ridiculous. I will never eat at your resturantr again, and will tell all my friends also.

The food was fantastic from start to finish. Very good wine selection. The service impeccable. Morton's is exactly what an upscale dining experience should be, flawless.

If you want a good dinner at a Morton's, visit the tech center. Mr. Anthony and his staff at the LoDo location need lessons in service.
