This place has been "talked up" about the great BBQ. We don't live far away so we tried it. Disappointing. The brisket was dry, the chicken was just chicken with BBQ sauce on it, the sausage was unimpressive.
The service was fine. The food was not. Your BBQ buck can be spent elsewhere for better food.

Like others (from reviews), I got excited and was kind of dissapointed. I had the brisket and the pork which were ok but not enough to warrent a massive detour for another visit. Could have hit it on an off day - but with BBq there should not be off days.

People rave about this place which I just can't fathom. I went there twice and the BBQ ranged from atrocious to mediocre. The prices were high and the service was abysmal.

Don't Cater With Brickyard

I wanted to get the word out that my experience with Brickyard's catering staff was horrible! I called earlier this week to request a catering service. Unfortunately, they were booked the night we wanted to hold our event (Friday, Sept. 14th). I requested a quote for what it would cost to just pick up the food ourselves. They said they'd call me back. They never did - which was fine b/c we ended up deciding to go a different direction.

Well...I get a call today, on the morning of Friday the 7th (a week before our event), asking who is coming to pick up the food (mind you, no talk of price or a finalized number for the food...which is what I was supposed to have a return call about). When I say we've decided to go a different direction and that no one will be picking up food the catering contact says: "don't tell me that, we already have the food." Then I realize he was asking who would be picking up the food TODAY. I tell him that our event is not even until next week, that it always was. He then hangs up on me.

Poor, poor, poor customer service. Not only did he get my event details wrong and didn't return a call when he said he would, but he hung up on me when he realized his mistake. Needless to say I'm never going there again!! I would recommend the same to others.

Brickyard is by far and away the best BBQ in Denver! The brisket, pork and links are amazing. I love, love, love their beans with chunks of meat and amazing cole slaw! Prices are just right for the whole family! Just had them cater a party and the service was awesome!

Decent BBQ

I eat here on occasion. The owners are very nice. The atmosphere is perfect for BBQ. The BBQ is not bad. The sides aren't that great.

Excellent ribs and beef and the prices are right. The sauce is great too.
