Alpharetta, GA 30004
Set inside an unassuming shopping center in Alpharetta, Lin's is a cut above your typical Chinese joint, with open ceilings, track lighting, Asian plants, and lots of natural woods and stone that give it a decidedly upscale appeal. Hosts Lin and Kay-Teck Chia offer up a unique dining experience that combines traditional family-style Chinese cuisine with a contemporary flair. Which means that you can get usual favorites such as General Tsao's chicken, Mongolian beef, or fried rice and lo mein available with your choice of beef, chicken, pork or shrimp. But more adventurous culinary tastes can also try chef's specialties such as Lin's Triple Delight (shrimp, scallops and sliced chicken breast sauteed with vegetables), Four Season (lobster, shrimp, slices of chicken breast and roast pork sauteed with Chinese vegetables) and Subgum Wonton (shrimp, chicken breast, and roast pork sauteed with Chinese greens in a light sauce, crowned with fried wonton). Not bad, for the outer 'burbs.

We used to live in Alpharetta (but now live in Ohio) and fell in love with Lin's Chinese food. It absolutely is the best anywhere. The sauces are full of flavor and very different from the typical Chinese sauces. The service is excellent and the environment is quaint and comfortable. We really miss Lin's Chinese and have not found anything close anywhere else.

Personally, I like this restaurant because they do not just offer good food, the atmosphere in the whole restaurant is also impressive. It is almost like starbucks...but with soothing asian songs playing.... I usually come during none busy times and the service is excellent.... I like their water fall....always a treat ! I would highly reccommend the soup....This is definately the best chinese restaurant in town....and one of the cheapest!
