The Than Brothers pho (rhymes with 'duh') cafes are famous among bargain-hunting soup lovers. Folks put off by the slightly worn trappings of the original at Aurora and 78th will be pleased by the bright, shiny interior of this triangular room of spacious, comfy booths, a row of mirrors on two walls and a gleaming koi tank just inside the entrance. Service comes faster than any fast food joint. Neophytes should opt for a small No. 1: a generous bowl filled to the rim with flavorful broth, rice noodles, cilantro, scallions, paper thin flank steak, and served with a plate of add-your-own bean sprouts, basil, lime and hot peppers. An assortment of sauces on each table rounds out the flavorings. Without fail, the greatest difficulty (aside from not dribbling on yourself in your eagerness) is in saving the complimentary cream puff until after you've souped up. But never mind -- you can get a trio to go for a mere $1.25...which doubtless will be consumed in the car on the way home.

food is one of the best, still not as good as pho 99 in aurora, service very commercial and not as friendly as pho 99 even though somewhat cheaper than 99. over all good anyway but if you want really traditional pho, go to pho 99 in aurora, 3 miles away

  • Best Pho Place in town

This is the only place I can actually order a bowl of pho large enough to make me full. All the other restaurants make me wanting another bowl. The service is quick and the pho is great. A warm bowl of pho is the best hangover medicine. Try it out!!

As good as pho gets. Best beef broth in the business by far. Lynnwood store 5 stars too.

A bowl of pho on a rainy evening (hey, that makes for almost any evening in Seattle, so don't hold yourself back!)will cure any kind of chill you may have. The service is fast, the take out amount of food is extremely full-filling, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is busy yet cozy and warm. Also a great date place, because you can always take up some of the talk marveling at the array of condiments provided with pho.
