Flourishing in its location in Mission Hills, Sushi Deli is crowded with a line out the door nearly every night. Service is efficient, though, and the food is worth the wait. Patrons laud the cheap prices as well as the high quality, and most recommend you call ahead and get takeout to save yourself from getting in line. saylorsun - 02/22/2007While the service has greatly increased (no more servers bumping into the back of you or forgetting to bring your check!), it's a shame that the quality has greatly decreased since the move.
As an avid SD1 fan, I've been met with cold tempura (ick!), warm sashimi (DOUBLE ick!), and an overall compromise of quality.
I'll give it a couple more goes, out of faith, but all in all... not worth the drive from East County anymore.Dowtown Location too!
