In a tiny stand inconspicuously tucked into a corner on North Second Street, you can get exactly two things: wraps and smoothies. Smoothies and wraps. However you put it, that's all you'll find at the appropriately named The Wrap Shack. The unassuming duo that works behind the counter makes everything from scratch, every day, all year long. The cheesesteaks you'll find here aren't like the ones you eat at Pat's or Geno's, but they're delicious in their own right -- thinly-sliced, seasoned steak, your choice of cheese, and fresh lettuce and tomato.

Other options, like the barbecued chicken wrap or the veggie scramble wrap with tofu, are equally delectable, and the homemade smoothies, in a variety of fruit flavors, are the perfect complement to the sandwiches. The Wrap Shack offers the perfect on-the-go meal, which, since there's nowhere to sit, is probably a good thing.

The Wrap Shack's fare cannot be confused with a wrap from anywhere else. I don't know how they do it, but it keeps me coming back! The wraps are great, the people friendly, and the apps, by themselves, are worth the trip. I was thrilled when they opened a second location on 18th near Walnut so I have more options.

While i respect the fact that they try to make healthy sandwiches and drinks, its overpriced, the sandwiches and smoothies absolutely arent worth it. Sorry, I'd love to be able to say positive things about a small place like this, especially one that has such a nice dog outside but its the truth.

The Wrap Shack is an amazing neighborhood takeout place, with a fun group of people working there. Blue is the dog that sits at the corner of the street welcoming guests. The wraps are addictive. So delicious that you will be back to the shack soon. Try the Philly Cheesesteak wrap or the BBQ chicken wrap. They are yum. As a Wrap Shack junkie, it is just a treat for a good appetite without that pseudo-gourmet hype, and more importantly, easy on your wallet!
