mudster46 - 09/16/2008This place is horrible, I used to live in Calli, and get real mexican food,Who ever voted this the best is high or drunk. This place is lousy. no taste and very bland. You are better off at Taco Bell..Save your money.

Nonny2t - 07/26/2008My husband grew up in southern New Mexico and El Porton is hardly great Mexican food just because every person that works there is Mexican. You are better off going to the chain restaurant Abuelos, that actually makes enchiladas perfectly, which to me is the mark of a good mexican restaurant. My husband hates all the local mexican restaurants. He says none of their food is prepared properly.

RAB10ac - 06/13/2008This is not mexican, You want Mexican, go to mexico and see the difference...... In memphis the only real Mexican is El Tapatio on perkins, or La Playita off sycamore. That is real mexcian...
