Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Every Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton's Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. Due to limited availability of this item, we suggest you reserve your order when making your reservation.

  • BAD VALUE for $$$$ spent

    Review rating : 2out of 5   Lv2tour - 06/11/2008

Service can be "haughty" but always poor, and food not much better. We don't even think of Morton's for steaks anymore

  • OUCH

    Review rating : 1out of 5   Watson43 - 06/11/2008

I have eaten at all the national steak houses and this is the worst
for service and quality of food. We ordered a bottle of wine which none of us thoutht to be drinkable and told that we did not know what a good wine is like. We returned the 200.00 bottle and drank water. Bad service equals NO TIP on a 600.00 bill.

  • NEVER BEEN THERE....BUT TOO MANY NEGATIVES

    Review rating : 1out of 5   Benji2264 - 05/21/2008

HOWEVER IF THE BILL COMES TO 500.00 OR SUCH ONE WOULD EXPECT THE SERVICE AND FOOD TO BE OF SUPREME QUALITY, IF A ROBOT COMES TO THE TABLE AS PREVIOUSLY ILLUSTRATED BY "CALPARK" THEN ONE SHOULD ASSUME THEY HAVE ENTERED INTO FRIENDLY'S ICE CREAM PARLOUR/ RESTAURANT TRAINING GROUNDS!!!

  • ONLY FAIR QUALITY FOOD-SERVICE

    Review rating : 2out of 5   donisland - 06/28/2007

SERVICE-Some head waiter named Nate was rude and arrogant. Waiter was ok, not what you want or expect. FOOD-only so so quality - not what you would expect for the price. They make you pay for all side dishes - Nothing comes with your dinner. TRY ANOTHER PLACE, YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID. THESE PEOPLE COULD CARE LESS IF YOU ENJOY THE FOOD OR SERVICE.

  • Fabulous Dinner!!

    Review rating : 5out of 5   dinchurchi - 03/08/2007

My friends and I recently had dinner at Morton's in Costa Mesa and had the best time. I started with 6 oysters on the half-shell, thye were so fresh and tasty and then had the rib eye, which was so good, it was cooked perfectly medium-rare, with steamed asparagus with hollandaise sauce, a perfect dinner! All of my friends enjoyed their dinner just as much. The service was great and we all met before our reservation for a cocktail in the bar...a great night was had by all!

  • Birthday Dinner nightmare...

    Review rating : 1out of 5   calpark - 02/20/2007

Because she lives in Costa Mesa, I went against my better judgment and took a friend and her son here for steaks instead of Stubriks in Fullerton. The Ribeye's which I expected, were over priced. However I did not anticipate them to be average in taste. The service albeit efficient was literally "programed" it was like having a robot at the table spewing a litany of rehearsd jargon I'd expect to hear at the Performing Arts Center. As our entree's arrived were informed that "We are OUT OF BAKED POTATOES" How is it even conceivable that a Steakhouse could run out of potatoes.... I was totally embarrassed. I will NEVER return to this or ANY MORTON'S restaurant,

  • Bad Customer Service/

    Review rating : 1out of 5   rosst77 - 02/06/2007

We ordered a rib-eye steak medium and received them burned! When we complained, they said it was our fault because if we wanted medium, we should tell them to "butterfly" it. Made us feel stupid the way they were trying to educate us on what cooking steaks is all about. We order exactly the same at Ruths Chris and they taste great there with great service. Vowed never to go to Morton's again.

  • Never Again

    Review rating : 1out of 5   magentta - 01/28/2007

    Are they kidding...
What a horrible experience! Every item we ordered was cold or poorly prepared. The serice was worse than the food! A $500.00 plus tab for four (4) peole was totally out of line.
    Ruth's Chris beats Morton's by a mile!

  • Ugh!

    Review rating : 1out of 5   jlstratnfv - 01/02/2007

Our first time impression was very poor. We experienced poor service and a very mediocre product that was extremely overpriced. A true waste of time, money and appetite.

  • worst service ever!!!!

    Review rating : 1out of 5   nikhaytla - 08/11/2006

I made reserv. for my husband's b-day & about 45 min past my reserv. time, when I asked about the wait, I was told by the manager "let me educate you on restaurants"... are you serious?! These were his exact words! Then when ordering our food I was told that they were out of lobster and 5 min later they took a lobster order from the table next to us b/c they were regulars!!! & the food was wasn't even that great! the fillet was fatty & tough & the fish was dry! If you want great steak or fish & service, try Ruth's Chris Steak House.
