A motley crowd and illustrious patio make this legendary after-hours spot a SoMa favorite.

The eclectic mix of people who frequent the Endup--gay and straight, young and old, of all colors, creeds, and backgrounds reflects a respect for diversity and individuality that is the essence of San Francisco. In Short
As one of the city's few after-hours clubs, the Endup hosts notorious marathon parties in a multifaceted environment. House-music enthusiasts check themselves in mirrored columns while sweating on the smallish but lively dance floor. In one room, fireside seating, a pinball table and a pool table provide a dose of chill. Outside, green foliage, a waterfall, and a two-tiered deck comprise the city's most tropical backyard patio.

Can B Wild Fun If U Let It
although i've been to this venue off and on for the past 15 years, it wasn't only till the last 2 yrs that it's become a normal past-time due to the monthly and weekly techno/tech-house events. it's because of places like the endup, that the rest of the world is beginning to take notice. it used to be other u.s. cities that get world renown artists (that don't get booked @ bigger commercial venues like ruby skye or the new joint temple) but now s.f. is fast becoming the #1 destination. just be prepared for all walks of life and all sorts of unmentionable debauchery. if you partake, just don't get caught. otherwise, enjoy the great music and energetic vibe.

Hi, my gay friends and I (straight) went there since November 03, 2006 on Friday night. It was GREAT! Everyone is nice and friendly with me. I guess that I'm too beautiful person inside and outside to show them, cool! The music and dancing floor are GREAT! I love it! I will go back there again when I am in town. (wink, wink)
What a Sad Rag

The bouncer for this pathetic establishment was petulant and rude. I didn't catch him ask me if I knew it was Reggae night, and when I asked him to repeat, enunciated as if I were mentally challenged. I told him I wasn't deaf and he denied me entry. Me and my boyfriend will never "End Up" here again!!
Some Fun for All
I've been to this crazy fun place on several nights/mornings/"what the hell day is it?"s. Love it.
yuck

I am an open person about gays and lesbians but this place is apparently just a place to go have sex with your same-sex partner. I went into the bathroom and found myself a couple of feet away from two men having sex, I spoke with the bartender and he told me that its a regular occurence, and that at least they made it all the way to the bathroom before they went at it. And if that wasnt bad enough on my way out a man grabbed my genitals and tried to solicit himself to me. So if you enjoy being molested then this is your place, if not avoid it at all costs.
tweeker's Haven
...I have actually found bags of crystal both used and full out back in the patio area and have seen people shooting it in the restrooms! Sick.
JLByrley's Review
Sorry to say, like most of the previously fabulous gay phenomena of SF (halloween street parties in the Castro/Folsom street fair/raves)The End Up, too, has been ruined by a much to straight crowd deciding, once again, that since they cannot create an environment that's totally wild and utterly hedonistic >AND
