Dark walls, banquettes and streetside seating are the perfect setting for the bar's signature drink: the martini. During the week, live jazz and blues lure Mission locals who are more hepcat than hipster, while the weekend's hip hop DJ's attract a bridge-and-tunnel crowd. A seemingly endless martini menu would take a even a serious drinker days to explore, with choices ranging from chocolate mint to a standard gin 'tini with spicy sausage and blue cheese garnish. Thankfully, exotic choices don't mean small servings (each drink is a tall 16 ounces), though no matter how sloppy you get your cocktail is made carefully and served properly.

Blondie's--like most of the Mission--has become a popular weekend destination for the bridge-and-tunnel crowd. If you're looking for a low-key, neighborhood vibe, weekdays are best.

    I love blondies! great music wonderful bartenders! Awesome drinks, did i mention how huge the martinis are! I go there every weekend and every time i've had a GREAT!!!!! time

    hey i thought blondies was sooo great! they had good drinks, good music and a good mix of people... can't wait to go again!

    The bouncers are vicious and beat up my friend for no reason whatsoever. he was just standing there and they came along and told him to move and before he could even turn one of them punched him in the face. Two of them then took him out back and beat him up. He is only alive because another friend was there to pull them off of him.

    The martini's were really good and very large which is the main reason I came here in the first place however it was way too crowded and drinks kept getting spilled onto people...Overall though the entertainment and drinks were what I was looking for and for a good time on a Saturday night this is a good place to be...

    I love this place it plays good music i love the crowd there u can get along with everybody and the bouncers are nice and it's cheap to get in but the drinks are expensive but it's woth it. and the drink i love is the blue martini and the long islands

    Blondies is a great place to go for drinks! They are VERY generous with their alcohol, but once the DJ arrives, the place gets TOO crowded! You can't even dance or walk around. They have a small bar in the back called the wet spot. The bartender there mixes great drinks. If you like sweet drinks, try a Deep Blue Funk! Stay away from the bartenders in the front, they are sooo rude!

    The place pours a good drink.I wish they had a little food,though.Also,the mix of people sometimes spoils it.young is great.Imature stinks.

    I was not a big fan of this place!!! I have never seen soooo many chicks at a bar dancing to Prince and other 80's music, it reminded me of high school prom!
