Nobraska - 06/11/2008Although the moronic Sean Hannity effusively plugs Ruth's Chris on his radio "show," we thoroughly enjoyed our steaks and the beautiful view of the San Diego waterfront. Service was excellent. For us, the entire steak experience at Ruths Chris was second only to Primi Piatti in Washington, DC
Filet was dry!!!
genepun05 - 02/20/2007The filet was dry and I had to ask them for some steak sauce. The sides are ridiculous. If you ask for steak fries, the bring you 4 potatoe wedges with no salt or any condiments what so ever. GO TO DONOVANS INSTEAD!!!

jenkinsfinancial - 02/20/2007The sweet potato's and corn dish is some of the very best. The garlic mash potato's and onion rings excellent. I have never had a bad meal in all of the year going to Ruth Chris! The Halibut was the best that I have ever had and cook to perfection! Truely one of the very best view's in the city while eating.
Definitely Overrated
equus2056 - 12/21/2006The food was nothing better than one would find at some chain restaurant like Coco's. Overpriced, poor service, and a long wait despite the fact that there were quite a few available tables (and we had a reservation).

jadaly5 - 02/19/2006My companion's steak was literally grisly and tough. Mine was okay, as far as filets go. The sides were huge and relied on fattening ingredients for flavor. I have never understood the hype about this place.
