East coast transplants and those looking for non-California-fied Chinese swear by Twin Dragon. For the last forty years Angelenos have been dropping by to stay or take-out some of the area's most reliable "Westernized" Chinese fare. Whether clamoring for the moo shu pork and paper-wrapped chicken or the walnut shrimp and sizzling soup, the Westside staple's local fans have come back for more, and kick-started the usual neighborhood word-of-mouth campaign in the process. And none of that light-done-right rice paper stuff: The dumplings here are plump, doughy and juicy, just like those East coasters like 'em. The setting is the usual Polynesian and tropical theme complete with the requisite mammoth aquarium. Expect to drop a solid $20 from jump street if you've got a date, married or otherwise, and for Chinatown and Monterey Park loyalists to heckle you for not venturing out to their hoods. They can complain, but forty years is forty years, and that's a rep that's hard to beat.

Never had a bad meal there. My favorites are the aromatic prawns, double mushroom chicken, and the three flavored low mein noodles.
Always bring out of towners there and when they come back to visit they always ask "when are we going to "Twin Dragons?"
One thing that stands out is the fact that the waiters and support staff are so familiar. They've been there a long time. I guess they know a good thing too.

The best sweet and sour pork anywhere. Sauteed garlic shrimp is great. The beef with mushrooms is excellent. But most of all, ask for William as your server. All of the wait staff is good, but William is the best and will not leave you disappointed.
