From the greeting at the front door that declares, "If you don't swing, don't ring" to the Jacuzzi-filled and heated Grotto, The Playboy Mansion is not only Hugh Hefner's home, but the de-facto headquarters of all things Playboy. Even though some of the mystery over what's behind the closed doors has vanished with shows such as 'The Girls Next Door' on E!, the Mansion is still home to annual celeb-magnet parties such as the Midsummer's Night Dream and Hef's Halloween Bash. Open primarily to those who get invited, the 30-room English Tudor mansion is a spectacle of stone masonry -- and a study in contradiction, because deep within such formal walls resides the most casual of content. Which brings us to the Mansion's naked truth -- that people will eventually become just that: naked. Be it in the pool, Grotto or playing pinball in the Game House, you're bound to see the slim and sexy frolicking free of the burden of clothes. And although Playboy bunnies live at the Mansion and can be found roaming the 21,000-square-foot property at any time, there are also macaws, albino peacocks and squirrel monkeys caged on-site, easily found if you traipse through the winding garden. But in reality, who wants to see animals at the Mansion -- the same people who read the magazine for its articles?
