Forget about 30-minute delivery or grabbing a slice on the way home from work. Checkered table cloths, old black-and-white photographs and mid-century prices make Casa Bianca a sit-down-and mangia kind of place. The modest decor, carafes of red wine and old neon sign give this town favorite a kitschy feel, and the crowd is as diverse as Los Angeles itself. Westsiders make the trek to Eagle Rock just for the sausage with caramelized garlic pizza, which is a favorite among regulars.
While the food here is classic Italian, the owners have bent the rules for a few additions, such as Hawaiian-style pizza (pineapple and ham) and jalapeno toppings. If you're a vegetarian, be sure to try the eggplant and garlic pizza. Though Sicilian and whole wheat crusts are available, most opt for the traditional white-flour version, which is thin and crispy. Since there are no reservations, the wait can be a bit long. But it's certainly worth it.

Best thin crust Pizza's

I believe these pizza's are if not the best one of the best period depending on what you like; I like thin crust Pizza and their anti pasta salad is about as excellent as it gets. There are fancier ones but this is just simply old fashion Italian. Linguinie white wine clam sause just excellent. Spagetti al bianco garlic w/ marinara sause and meatballs on the side. Wow! I think for old time flavor you know mom and pops is absolutely excellent and there is so much more. If you like how it sounds, it is excellent Italian dining.

THE BEST

NOT ONLY IS THE PIZZA GREAT, BUT TAKE A PASTA HOME, HAVE IT THE NEXT DAY FOR AN EVEN GREATER TASTE. IT IS WORTH THE WAIT.....
MISS THIS PLACE

We used to eat every Tuesday night with our best friends, we all would meet, drink some red wine and eat the best pepperoni, sausage, garlic and fresh tomato pizza on the planet. After moving to Dallas, the only "fix" I can get is when my friends "RUB IT IN"....if you ever want to sell, please contact me!
45 years and counting!!!
I've been going to casa since i was 6 or 7 years old,the place and the food hasn;t changed, its excellent!the pizza has a taste like no other, and i've had some good ones, but casas'is still the BEST.the spaghetti al bianco is to die for,as is the lasagna and the traditional pasta dishes.sandwiches are great too.thank you Jenny,Ned,and Andrea for keeping it real all these years!!! great food and many great memories
Worth the drive!!!

At least once a week I drive 40 miles to eat at Casa Bianca. Pepperoni is my favorite. The sub sandwich is incomparable as are the salads. I make it a point to arrive shortly after they open so I don't have to wait in line. It is all worth it. The founder's wife (almost 90) is in the kitchen helping out every day. What a family! What a pizza!
