Get there early so you can find parking and can haul your items there safely.
Bonam's gets very crowded quickly. People come out while you are in line and tag your items according to the category of which it is relevant. Seating is limited, very often you are left standing in the corner trying not to get in the way of other people who are focused on the appraisers in front of the crowds.
It's very much a circus. I would bring no more than 2 items at a time because if you are rushing from one appraiser to another, you may miss the details if one line goes faster than another......
Keep a pad and pen to write down everything that is said to you and keep a file on each item.
