Their motto is "We're from Brooklyn, we know pizza," and no one's arguing with that. You can order the New York thin crust, Sicilian deep dish, stuffed or gourmet pizza pies. In addition to traditional toppings, ricotta, broccoli, pesto and BBQ chicken pizzas are available. The Laguna Niguel outpost has only a few tables inside and out, so most patrons come in for a quick slice or takeout. New York subs such as the sausage parmesan and the ham and cheese are favorites. Sides include garlic knots, pinwheels (pepperoni, spinach, four cheeses and sausage) and classic dishes such as the stromboli are plentiful. Other locations include Foothill Ranch, Irvine, Lake Forest, Marina Hills and Long Beach with more locations on the way. -- Victoria Namkung

I'm from Brooklyn, and I know pizza too!! And this is the closest to NY pizza that we've found. The crust is just right, and while I never thought I'd admit loving anything other than just plain old cheese pizza, the Greek pizza and the white pizza are to die for! You gotta try it!
(but why is the one in Laguna Niguel just a few doors down from Weight Watchers??)

Absolutely the best pizza in OC hands down. I can't even begin to express how happy I am that they are just around the corner from my house. The only other comparable pizza is sixty miles away...

How can anyone not love this food! This pizza is absolutely addictive, it itâs served hot and with the freshest ingredients that I have tasted. It reminds me of the time my best friends Italian Grand mom use to make from the old country. The pizza dough is flavorful and perfectly baked to a golden brown. The staff and the restaurant are clean and friendly. This place is a smashing hit and you need to try it out ASAP. I now will end this review by saying, See you at New Yorkâs Upper Crust Pizza, as I am on my way to another great slice of pizza and service!

i have a passion for new york/new jersey style pizza and this place is by far the closest to NY style pizza i have tried. i feel lucky to live so close!

I was in the mood for some late night pizza, so I figured why not try New York's Upper Crust Pizza, since the "details" said they were open until 11:00pm on Saturday night. I hopped in my car and left Fountain Valley around 10:00pm and took the toll road to save time, arriving at Upper Crust Pizza shortly after 10:30...alas, they closed at 10:00pm...a forty mile round trip with a $3.75 toll added , and NO pizza. Luckily I checked out the closing time for Jody Marone's Sausage Kingdom at the Block...they weren't closing until midnite, so I had to "suffer" with a great Italian Sausage and the worlds best french fries.
This is NOT the first time I have been misled by AOL's "greatest"...you'd think I would learn after awhile...Jimbo

I just moved to CA from NJ and tried every pizza place around.. they all taste and look like cardboard.... NY UPPER CRUST PIZZA IS DEFINITELY THE BEST PIZZA IN SO. CA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!!!! they have many pizzas by the slice.. every type of pizza is excellent!!

Pizza,the very best no Question!Try the Pesto Pizza with grilled eggplant,roma tomatoes and add Pepperoni....nothing can compare and I mean nothing
