Overrated and Surprised

Took my wife and father expecting this well advertised place to be fantastic and was extremely disappointed. Service was exceptional. Food was just fair but way overpriced for the portion and flavor. My father and I had the cowboy ribeye and it was extremely undersized(oz deion not on the menu) for the price and it was served on a platter sitting in about a 1/4 inch of fat. Each time we cut a slice,we were dipping it in pure fat. Creamed spinach was too oily. Baked potato nothing to brag about. Crab cakes fair. Calamari was fair but also disappointing for its price,flavor and texture. I would recommend any other steakhouse over this place. Extremely overrated and a disappointed.

Watch out....my friend and I both got horrid trots form their LV place and a call from management only to make sure we didn't have plans to sue. Would never go back, even for free. Beware the hollandaise!

Good value for price paid....good service except on weekends...but found food to be consistently good....still prefer other steakhouse if we have a choice.

I have eaten at RC's several times and it is always perfect. The prices are high but paying the price for great steaks and service is worth it. Seems like those who write bad reviews are plants from other competitors who want to make RC look bad. Don't believe them! Try this place for yourselves and you will be pleased.

This is a chain of steakhouses and most of the dummies in OC have bought the advertising that it's "the best." Sorry, but it's not. They did not honor our reservations, instead seating my date and I at the bar. The noise level was so high we could not hear each other, people kept jostling us trying to place or reach their drinks, the steaks when served (took forever) were full of fat and gristle. Everything is a la carte, be ready for a fiercely expensive dinner that won't meet your expectations. Why put up with the hassle? The food is only ok, the wait staff has an attitude, and the crowd is extremely off-putting. Skip it....
