Even the smoking sec. is sexy!
the 3 of us went on a saturday night. Really good service. Took time to explain everything. We choose almost three things from each page creating a buffet style dinner as we people watched from the booths upstairs. Food and drinks were awesome. Afterwards hung out at the bar. Hot women everywhere!!! And where cocktail servers wear less clothes than pam anderson, I'll definitley be back!!! But just nextime I guess I'll have to call a 5th time to tell them not to seat us in the smoking section!!
Add CommentBad food (low class)waitress
Really bad food.... our roll had a big hole in it.
our waitress talk like a cheap diner waitress.. very disappointed.
No class at all.
And to the Japanese chef
" What do you doing? Have you lost your mind?"Great time!!
When I read these other reviews I was very skeptical concerning the restaurant my girlfriend had chosen for her birthday.. But the experience turned me around. Wonderful staff, probably the best tuna tataki i've had in a long time. I'm under the impression that the reviewer who said that their waitress was low class is a leftover yuppie from the 80's.
Great atmosphere
The food.....wasn't impressed! I wouldn't come back for dinner but for drinks and a night out, it's perfect!
The ambiance...........
I enjoyed the food and bar. I had a great time and highly recommend it!
pretty good
I went there a couple of weeks ago on a thursday night and it was pretty good. we tried to make a reservation for 7:45 but they said they had none available for that time and that we had to come by 7:30 so we thought it would be busy but when we got there it was pretty empty. the food was really really good but really expensive. we tried all different kinds of sushis and enjoyed all of them. food comes out really FAST. waitress was very nice and came to our table often. the other workers were very friendly as well and acknowledged us when we left. I would come back.
As a back up only!
Went there last night with six other guess,:
Service:Bad
Food:far from good except for one dish.
And finally we were almost told to get out...don't send anybody there to try to impress
Sorry guys..you 're gonna have to do betterOverrated!!
Went on a Fri. night. The place is quite big but very cold atmosphere. Food was average. Sat upstairs with open roof...lots of smokers, made it unbearable!! Worst part, got sick from that night, not a clean place at all. Waitress was on something, awful service. Don't bother with this place!
Skip This Place!

This is an honest posting from someone who had a large party there on a Saturday night. The decor is cheap and the atmosphere on the upper level feels as VIP as sitting inside the special train car at the Old Spaghetti Factory when you were seven. Our waitress was nice but we were overcharged on our drinks by about $30 and the bill included a $35 entree no one ordered. I guess they thought our large party would not notice. Just wait until my platinum amex calls them. As for the food, you can get better sushi from the take out counter at Gelsons. I am sure it wasnÂt prepared by any sushi chef from Japan (unless Japan now shares the southern boarder of the United States). The "manager/actor" acted careless to the one little problem we had (a forgotten appetizer being served during dessert). I can assure you we were not the complainer types and I tipped way too much despite it all. Aside from some good DJ music, skip this place Âit will hopefully be replaced by something better soon.
So Over

Last Thursday had reserv. for 9:30 and when we arrived the host was so lost, clueless and confused! He should have been working anywhere but in a restaurant. They had no idea on when we might get seated, a few minutes or a few hours? "We don't give times was the response"? So stupid! Finally after waiting 45 minutes we were shown past two empty tables on the main floor and were directed upstairs. After we said that we would prefer to sit on the main floor the host said no because those tables were reserved! Reserved for whom? Obviously not for people with reservations. We left since we were not impressed with the management of this place. Suggest you Go fast as this place won't last! The crowd was typical Hollywood, and so nothing special, guaranteed not to succeed....
