FUN night out

My husband and I are Fullerton locals and we bring our friends to Chomp for a great night out often. Great big martinis and excellent sushi you just can't go wrong. We have also had several appetizers that were tasty too (especially crab wontons). It's crowded so no doubt the word is out- but worth the wait we think.

Careful of food poisoning!

I actually have never been to chomp, but I have been to riptide in mission viejo, and the same people own both restaurants. There were some cases a few months back at riptide where people ate bad sushi and got tapeworms from it. During thursday night all you can eats at riptide, some of the sushi is premade before you get there, such as the crunchy rolls. For the best sushi and all you can eat bar in orange county, ca beach in newport is your best bet. 21.95 all you can eat along with all you can eat apetizers + everything is very fresh.

The whole experience is exciting. Danny knows how to crank it up, both with the food and the decor. You won't be disapointed.

My sister and I went here to have some Sake and sushi and had a fabulous time. The atmosphere is great and the staff was very nice and helpful. The food was awesome too.

This restaurant is for people who enjoy really LOUD places, and enjoy being surrounded with drunken and rude people. This is not a place to take children or young people who you are trying to teach good morals and lifestyle.

Teppan good but sushi bar is the best. The quality is some of the best I have ever eaten and the preparation is a feast for the eye. Have been many times and never been disappointed.

My family & I went for the first time recently & we had the best time! We sat at the sushi bar & had the best fun with the sushi chef! We were very impressed with the quality of food & the atmosphere will definately keep us coming back for more & more!! They also have an offer on thursdays, for $20 all you can eat sushi. It starts at 9pm, make sure you are there plenty early as it fills up FAST!

Disappointed

I had heard great things about this place and was very disappointed with the food and service. We had a reservation and still waited for almost an hour. The service was slow, waited another 15 minutes before we got our drinks. The teppan chef was boring, he had no personality while he was cooking...he only did one trick. I enjoyed the atomsphere, and the karaoke bar was full of people having a good time. I will not go back for dinner. If you want great teppan try Koki's in Tustin, it is fantastic.
