From the outside, this downtown institution doesn't look like it was ever the local produce market or owned by a once-famous Hollywood choreographer, but the restaurant's dramatic past is made clear in its wood beams, huge ceiling and fanciful decorations. Former tinsel town guy Steven Peck serves Sicilian favorites in what looks like a never-ending Italian village festival gone bad (it actually depicts Sicily's St. Ciro's Day). After straining your neck to take in the sights, feast your eyes on the menu. Everything, from the bread to the cannelloni is made fresh with strong flavors. For some regulars, this is their local pizza place because the thick and chewy pies are better than the entrees. Suburban families, groups and couples out on a romantic (yet humorous) date dress casually here and revel in the eccentric party atmosphere. Hint: A visit to the subterranean toilette is a must.

rodneyd4444 - 05/05/2007A & V has the BEST pizza that money can buy. I have been going there since the '70's and go back often. Lunch is a great value from the Take-Out side, HUGE slice of pizza for $2.50.
Oldie but Goodie
mfreyal - 04/04/2007I recently re-discovered this place, having been there many times when my kids were small. I went with a small group, wondering if I'd chosen the right place. I wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent. Pizza is sooooo good! Two people in the group had the buffet and were very pleased with their food.
Dissapointed
amicsonee - 12/20/2006I was a customer for sometime until recently, pizza was very dissapointing and soggy. I found a much better pizza place here in downtown Fullerton call the BrickHouse Pizza. They have the best pizza anywhere in Orange County, being from Chicago, I know what very good pizza tastes like.

ctchafalnstar - 03/07/2005I first discovered this restaurant by accident, and it was the best mistake I ever made! Delicious food, by far the best Italian cuisine to be found out side of Italy and in Califronia! Highly suggest you visit and enjoy good food at great prices.
