There's a saying that behind every great man is a great woman, and in Walter Knott's case, that's certainly the truth. His wife Cordelia could whip up a chicken dinner like none other -- and her cooking paid the bills, drew the crowds and enabled him to build Knott's Berry Farm. Her restaurant is a local landmark, and it's still as busy as ever. It also looks pretty much the same. The sturdy wooden tables and rustic decor hint at Orange County's farm-country beginnings. The food is still the main draw, though. Cooks follow Mrs. Knott's original recipes for fried chicken, mashed potatoes, buttermilk biscuits and boysenberry pie to the letter. Hundreds of chicken dinners are served daily. There's also an often overlooked menu of country classics such as pot roast and chicken potpie. The Sunday champagne buffet brunch is a popular tradition, especially with families. Reservations are recommended. During the rest of the week, the restaurant serves a full breakfast featuring omelets, French toast and -- what else -- chicken and eggs.

dinner is great , the pie is good but i`ve had better ,breakfast is nice just don`t order the chicken ******* requires to much on your part to season and spice for the effort chicken and eggs our good , the bisquits are real hand made bisquits ,the country gravy i would pass and ask for chicken gravy or brown gravy , the punch is great , service has dropped off to many girls talking being drunk the nite before doe`s not add for a nice dinning experience i just liked it when i was a kid the food was real and the people were in mindset geared for service and making for repeat visits i haven`t been back in 5years i just hope the service is better and the servers more discreet with personal items customers don`t go for them , but great food.

And their food is pretty good. I ordered a chicken plate with veggies and with some mashed potatos and it tasted good. I haven't eaten there for a good 11 years now and I'm sure one of these days, I may stop in to order a meal.

The Sunday Brunch is a given whenever our family visits from out of town. Plenty of variety and good to outstanding service. A visit from Snoopy is icing on the cake! Only wish they'd bring back the apple stuffing!

Took my parents here when they came to visit and the food was terrific, the service was wonderful and the management comes out and helps when it gets busy; loved that.

VARY BAD COLD CHICKEN!

we want about 4 days about 5pm.we was in line and we didn't get in untill 6:50p.m...we seat down & got are food at 7:45 p.m.
When We Got are COLD CHICKEN THAT WAS NOT COOKED RIGHT IT HAD PINK & BLOOD SPOT'S IN SIDE ,,

WE ASKED TO SEE A MAGER SHE DIDN'T COME UNTILL
8:25P.M..

WHEN SHE CAME WE SHOWED HER THE CHICKEN. & SHE SAID WELL IT LOOKS LIKE YOU EAT THE CHICKEN WE TOLD HER NO!! WE DIDNT WE HAD TO CUT IN TO THE CHICKEN!!

SHE SAID WELL I'LL ONLY TAKE OFF SOME OF THE BILL'S &
NEXT TIME YOU COME IN IF IT DONT LIKE RIGHT THEN (( DONT TOUCH)) THE CHICKEN!

SO I SAID IF WE DONT TOUCH THE CHICKEN THEN HOW ARE WE TO NO IF IT'S GOOD!

SO SHE JUST TURNED AND WALKED AWAY

THE BILL WAS $103.SHE TOOK OFF 9dollers
SO THE BILL WAS 94.DOLLER

AND THE MAGERS NAME WAS KATE!
