Around the corner from the William Morris Agency, you'll find Cathy Moriarty-Gentile's pizzeria, the cheapest place to "do lunch" in Beverly Hills. When you arrive -- forget about the salads (unless your special diet guru commands you to chomp on healthy fare only) and go straight for the New York-style pizza, topped with everything from pepperoni and cheese to chicken Parmesan. Wonder what makes these slices awesome? The secret to these succulent pies is the sauce, and it's almost impossible to stop at just one slice. Can't get away from your desk? Not a problem because if you want to order in, Mulberry includes a salad with the free delivery. It's truly bella, here.

  • Could be better

This is not the place where you pray to the Pizza Gods! Considering the price and the hassle to get in, you would think there would be better quality and portion. If you are in the area and dont mind the drive and parking issue to get the real pie, head over to Westwood and crash LaMonica's NY Pizza on Gayley, it is the real deal.

  • Absolutely terrible.

How on earth did Mulberry's get #1 in Los Angeles? That is completely unreal. Their pizza looks just like Costco pizza, but no where even as good as Costco. Like flies? This is the place to eat - Mulberry's is loaded with them. Like cheap paper plates? This restaurant is for you. Like to be charged $1.50 per soda drink? You guessed it - this place is for you.

Do yourself a favor and go to Petrillos in San Gabriel - they have crappy service, but the food is second to none.

i've tried most of the places on the best pizza list and this one was the best out of them. it wasn't the greatest tho and it didn't really taste "new york"

    Regina's Pizza in Boston
    Two Boots in NYC
Red Ball Pizza in Woodland Hills

There it is pizza lovers. Mulberry Street is a bunch of east-coast wannabes' idea of east coast pizza. Only one real pizza in LA....Red Ball in WH.

If you like cardboard for crust and 8 pieces of pepperoni on a large pie this is your place in Bevery Hills (fake like everybody else there). If you want a REAL pie try Petrillo's, nothing finer in LA!

  • as a true New Yorker

Living in L.A. it's hard to find any descent Pizza....Honestly, Mulberry Street Pizzeria is the closest you'll ever come to NY pizza. It's even got that certain smell when you open the box...can't believe it...It's the best out here!!!! I don't care what anyone says...!
