You know what you're getting when you go for a drink at the House of Blues. Being a chain, every location across America looks virtually the same and Anaheim's House is no different. Accented with rustic folk art, weathered fixtures and a subtle sense of southern hominess, this venue is known as one of the most elegant bars in Orange County, despite its grungy rock 'n' roll undertones. But with elegance comes expense: stick with the beer and you might get out of the place with money left over for the mandatory parking fee. Otherwise, prepare to pay a heady sum for a couple rounds of mixed cocktails. The final tab is justifiable, though. Anaheim's House of Blues is not a local bar full of regulars. Located in Disneyland's Downtown Disney district, this spot mostly attracts vacationing tourists who anticipate a slightly higher drink tab.

Wow,"Precious Time" is the best Pat Benatar Tribute I have seen so far. They really rocked at the HOB on April 9, 04. I have seen the real Pat Benatar band, and This Band "Precious Time" has top gun musicians, Like the real band. Lead guitarist Zach Petersen can really rip, and the lead vocalists. Sindee was real hot, Wow can she nail those high notes. Everyone around us was singing to the music and the guys in back of me kept shouting they were in love with the lead vocalist! Please don't miss this band. they will make a Benatar fan out of you! Hope they play in the HOB in Anaheim again soon! Drummer, Jerry DeLuca, Lead guitarist, Zach Petersen, Rythem, Steve Castro, made the singer Shine! Rocked the House Out! Five Stars!

A very mediocre meal in a great setting. If you happen to be at DTD and you want to eat, this play is okay, but remember you're in a tourist trap, not a fine restaurant. At 50% off with The Entertainment Book, it was a good value, but I'd feel ripped off at full price. Try the skillet of cornbread, it's the best thing on the menu. The rest was so-so.

I got kicked out of the show before I even got inside. They claimed I was too drunk to enter. What's funny is that there are 3 bars inside with bartenders eager to serve you as many drinks as possible. No crowd surfing or moshing? Then don't book punk bands like NOFX and Social D. Disney is way too image conscious to have a place like this on their property.
