When founder Lovie Yancey flipped the first Fatburger in 1952 Los Angeles, it wasn't long before she knew she was onto something good. The big juicy burgers attracted a following of musicians and celebrities that persists to this today. Of course, ordinary people enjoy the famous hamburger stand, too. Since its January 2006 opening, the Fatburger location in City View Shopping Center has seen a growing fan base. When you arrive, step up to the stainless steel and pleated sheet metal counter to make your order. On the simple menu, you'll see the popular 8-ounce Kingburger, which you'll want to top with the usual condiments or maybe something special like chili or a fried egg (yes, an egg). While Fatburgers are by default fat, they're made from some of the leanest beef available. If you're particular, you could pass on beef altogether, and opt for a turkey burger or chicken sandwich instead. Add a side of Fat Fries or homemade onion rings, if you like. Mmm. A real ice cream milkshake would be a nice chaser. You may have to wait a few minutes longer for the freshly prepared food of Fatburger, but just take a bite and you'll understand why.

Actually I have never been to this place but I rated it good just because no restaurant is perfect. You might get a disease from just about anywhere. If there would have been a Veggie Burger Option I would have rated that BEST for health, the Earth, TASTE, the Animals and, last but not least, for the starving people of the world.
