OK, say the name, groan, and get it over with. Despite the gag-me pun, this restaurant/bar embraces its moniker and South Street location with enthusiasm. Hipsters often bypass Copabanana because it looks as cheesy as its name -- party lights, bachelor-pad decor -- but by being too cool they're missing out on a fun time. Downstairs, there are two bars and a dining room, with additional seating and another bar on the second floor, so there's rarely a wait. After work, you'll find a chill crowd that comes for the burgers, Buffalo wings and flavored margaritas. But weekend nights find Copa going a bit crazy; if you have an aversion to the Jersey/frat boy crowd, it's best to come back another time, when you can enjoy your burger -- arguably the best in town -- in comfort.
