Although Heroes borders on being a sports-themed bar and grill, don't let that give you the idea that the kitchen churns out typical pub fare. The food here is exceptionally good. Combine the king-sized portions and the low prices, and Heroes is easily the best value for your dollar in downtown Fullerton. Dishes like the fettuccini alfredo, turkey club sandwich and gourmet burgers get the super-sized treatment, so much so that two hungry adults can split an order and still have plenty left over. Don't look for a typical Heroes crowd though -- the clientele ranges from big families to young couples to rambunctious sports fans taking in Sunday morning football during the breakfast hours.

The sunday manager was great, we asked him to change the channel from the boring Nascar races to the NFL game. He said no problem.

Sunday manager is a real jerk. We asked on two different occasions now if NASCAR races could be shown on one of the many TV's they have. Not friendly at all, a resounding NO! Too bad. Both times we had big parties that you lost out on. You had no more than 15 people in your restaurant at 11:00 AM on Sunday. We left and went to Hooters where the manager took good care of us. The last time Brian's did the same. See, you're not the only place in town!
