With fast food restaurants arguing over who has the biggest burger, this tiny Carmel joint could easily take them all. With its feature burger weighing in at a whopping one pound (and that's after spending time on the hot grill) the Big Ugly is earning quite a reputation with local carnivores. If you're not sure you're ready for a full pound of hand-patted beef, give the Not-So-Big Ugly burger a try. The half-pound sibling may be a little easier to swallow, but when topped with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and cheese, it's still quite an undertaking. Of course, you can't order a burger without fries. Waffle fries are the most popular, and when topped with chili and cheese they make for an explosive side.
