Though Le Peep is in the heart of tourist country, it's really the locals who frequent this spotless little eatery located near the Universal Studios entrance. Plenty of business is conducted over bottomless cups of coffee, but this is a place to come hungry, with a vast breakfast menu that makes it hard to choose. Omelettes or eggs Benedict? Belgian waffles or a stack of pancakes? You'll find all the early bird classics, and some creative breakfast options, too.

There are dozens of egg creations and every one of them is delicious. For a light bite, try the breakfast banana split with bananas, strawberries, strawberry yogurt, blueberries and granola.
