Some people dabble in a little bit of everything, while others do only one thing, but do it amazingly well. Le Peep falls into the latter category. With a menu comprised soley morning cuisine, this national chain truly makes breakfast the most important meal of the day. Pancakes are a house favorite and come in a number of lip-smacking flavors, including granola, blueberry and wheat germ (think IHOP on steroids). Other popular options include French toast, omelets and Belgian waffles. Haute cuisine this is not -- in fact, you could probably make a lot of these dishes at home. But there's something about complimentary coffee, terrific service and not having to wash dishes that makes this place so wondernful. It's almost a shame it's only open until 2:30PM. We could really get into the idea of flapjacks for dinner.
