Be prepared to peruse the menu for a while at this hip Wicker Park breakfast spot offering endless choices. Though the menu seasonally changes, some favorites stick around year-round, including the lemon buttermilk and raspberry cheesecake hotcakes and apple pancakes with nuts and yogurt. Egg dishes are also popular, but watch out because the portions are enormous. Come hungry, but not too hungry, because there is always a long wait, sometimes up to two hours. If your stomach can't wait, nab one of the counter seats. Seating is tight, but not claustrophobic.

BoLoc3 - 09/30/2008My wife and I went to the Wabash location Saturday and the wait wasn't long at all, despite the fact that I arrived just as the Race for the Cure was ending. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. This was only my second time coming, and the last time was 4 years ago when it was called Room 12. I'll make sure it's not another 4 before I come again!

obgynsoon2 - 01/17/2008A few years ago my kids & I took a spontaneous roadtrip to Chicago & this restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel. I was so impressed with the food, my kids still talk about how great & innovative the breakfast food was. I am coming back in a few weeks & hope the banana pancakes will be making a return to the menu! Pricy but absolutely DELICIOUS!
