This national microbrewery/restaurant chain is obviously big on beers. But it's also a reasonably priced steakhouse. Featuring all your favorites in casual American cuisine, Hops Restaurant serves up good meals and boasts a long menu of handcrafted brews. Relax in a booth in the wood and brick-lined walls. Because beer- making is so central to Hops, the ambience reflects that. You can't miss the copper and stainless steel tanks. And if you'd like more of a hands-on experience, everyone is welcome to tour the brewery. And in keeping with the superb beer tradition, you've got to try their brews. Sure there's a full bar here, but why drink a cocktail when you can enjoy a raspberry brew? All made from Hops' own original recipes, there's something for everyone here. If you're watching your calorie intake, try the Clearwater Light, which is has fewer calories and carbohydrates. Otherwise, go for the Lightning Bold Gold, a lager or the Hammerhead Red, an amber ale, or the Alligator Ale, a mahogany-colored brew with a smooth finish.

And if you're not into imbibing, no problem. You can't go wrong with Hops' own root beer, brewed to perfection. There's not much to Hops in terms of nightlife. More of a relaxed lounge, there's no live music. This is the place to go when you're looking to enjoy a good beer with good friends.
