From the moment you walk in the door, you can tell this is no cookie cutter brew pub. Here, tongue-in-cheek signs and friendly regulars encourage you to let your hair down. Lompoc's beers, handcrafted on the premises, span a range of styles including both German lagers and British ales. A central bar divides a big, shadowy room into smoking and non-smoking sections. The hardwood floor is dark, worn, and a little uneven. In summer, the sizeable beer garden offers perhaps the best outdoor seating in town. Choose from picnic tables in the sun, or in the shade, under arbors dripping with leafy grape vines.
