Cherry Creek is crawling with great bars and restaurants, but only a few stand out like the Chinook Tavern. The menu is German inspired, but not without a great variety, and the wine list is a perfect complement, making it impossible to have a bad meal. The patio is garden level, making it seem like a hiding spot. If you're looking for a new happy hour hangout, Chinooks may be just what you're searching for. The bar inside is big, and always loaded with a fun crowd and great staff. With a dozen great beers, ales and pilsners, you can't loose. The knowledgeable and friendly staff is a pleasant surprise for a place as laid back as Chinooks; but then, the Chinook is a remarkable place.

The food is fresh, well prepared, served in an excellent manner with all the accompaniment of professionals that love what they are doing!! Warm, comfortable setting ... good for a bu$ine$$ or relaxing occasion. An excellent selection of entre's and beverages to complement them. You've never been made to feel so welcomed anywhere! This is one place you will return to. Tell your friends ... they will thank you! Mine have!!

The halibat special i had was excellent the sauce rich and flavorful, but light enough to be complimentary to the fish. The service left a little to be desired, but was not bad. Definate site for that romantic evening out.

The ambiance is outstanding,the service is impeccable, my waiter Ali always takes great care for me. The food is excellent, I never had a bad meal.I appreciate the attention
the owners,four family members,give to the details.It makes me and the guests i bring along feel comfortable.

bville01 - 04/16/2000Had a great meal there recently. The restaurant features about 10 good German draft beers (love the Poulaner Oktoberfest). We had outstanding service at a nice table. The breaded stuffed porkchop was tender, well-portioned, and delicious. The sauerbraten was also excellent. A pleasant suprise was that the vegetables (potatoes, red cabbage and carrots) were also very good. Highly recommended.
