Blake Street Tavern hits a homerun for delicious food and great drink. The wood decor and black padded booths provide a warm atmosphere, taking you back in time with pictures of old ballparks on the walls. Order a smooth Flying Dog Old Scratch Amber Lager or In Heat Wheat brew -- it doesn't get much fresher since the brewery is right next door. The menu is simple but with a satisfying selection: Start out with an order of chicken wings, nachos or chips and salsa. For the main course, choose from an assortment of items such as a turkey burger, buffalo burger, fish and chips or barbecued pork.
